Terms of service

Delivery and Inspection

Upon arrival of your steam shower, please inspect the exterior and interior for damages. You must open and inspect the parts for any type of damage and report it to the driver before it is signed for. If the package is damaged, contact us immediately for more information at 1-800-792-8232. If the unit is signed for without inspection or notation, you are accepting the delivery of the package in good condition. We cannot process an insurance claim with the freight company if the unit is signed for (which means you received it in good condition). In the event that the unit arrives damaged and the entire shipment or parts of the shipment is refused, we will replace the unit/parts upon availability of the replacement unit or parts that are damaged.

Inspect the package immediately even if you will not be installing the unit. The shipping company requires the customer to report any damages within the first 72 hours after delivery. Your shipment will be delivered by a freight carrier using a single driver. Please make sure someone is available to help the delivery person unload the items.

The freight company will only deliver goods to a ground floor location and are not responsible for moving your items upstairs. Ensure that someone is able to assist the driver with moving heavy/bulky goods at the delivery location. If redelivery needs to be arranged because no one was at the delivery location an extra charge may be applied.

Installation and Certification

The unit must be installed by a licensed plumber and electrician, or it will void the warranty of the unit from the manufacturer. The purchaser of the steam shower accepts full responsibility and liability for its proper use, operation, and installation. This unit is not to be used for commercial purposes. The purchaser also agrees to hold harmless and indemnify SteamShowers4less.com from any actions, lawsuits, judgments, or liability claims arising from the use of these products. SteamShowers4less.com is not responsible for any liability or losses accruing from plumbing or electrical installation.

It is the customers' responsibility to confirm the product will comply with their state, county or city codes. If you will be receiving an inspection by a county or city inspector, please ask them what they require. All Platinum, Athena and Mesa units carry ETL certification.

If a customer purchases any steam shower unit or bathtub that does not pass inspection, we will allow returns subject to the following conditions. You will be able to return the unit for purchase price of unit, less the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, and less a restocking fee of 15% if the unit is in the original packaging. If the steam shower unit or bathtub was opened, or opened and assembled, a 25% restocking fee will apply.

Cancellations & Returns

You can return all non-Clearance items purchased from SteamShowers4Less.com within 20 days from the shipping date when it leaves the warehouse if units are brand new and uninstalled. Clearance items are non-returnable. The item should be in its original condition (including: packaging, manuals, accessories, original crate, etc.). Refunds will be processed within 3 business days from the time the return is received at our warehouse. Due to the high risk of damage when shipped back to our location, you must package the product the same way you received it including any shrink wrap, tape and form. This will help prevent damages back to us. Damaged packages shipped back to us due to poor packaging may result in a restocking fee of up to 25%.

The customer must pay all costs related to original shipping and return shipping even if shipping was free. After receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise, we will reimburse your credit card for the purchase price of the item, less the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, and less a restocking fee of 15%. 

Warranties

All steam showers carry a (7) seven year structural warranty against manufacturer defects. The structural warranty protects the structure of the steam shower from peeling, fading, delaminating or cracking. Structural components include the acrylic panels, shower pan, ceiling, and glass panels. All steam shower parts carry a (1) one year guarantee against defects.

All jetted tubs and air tubs carry a (7) seven year structural warranty against manufacturer defects. The structural warranty protects the structure of the tub from peeling, fading, delaminating or cracking.  All jetted tub and air tub parts carry a (5) five year guarantee against defects.

 

Steamshowers4less.com carries most steam shower replacement parts in stock and will arrange for a spare part to be delivered to you. Replacement parts can be ordered by calling our service department at 1-800-791-8232. Steamshowers4less.com recommends that a certified plumber or electrician replace the spare part. Steamshowers4less does not accept any responsibility or liability for the installation of spare parts.
